New Vintage Searcys English Sparkling Wine

Our Searcys English Sparkling Wine has been created by an award-winning vineyard, Greyfriars in Surrey. Made with a blend of the three traditional Champagne grape varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier according to traditional methods, before being aged in the bottle for 36 months

The grapes are grown on the sunny south-facing chalk slopes of the Hog’s Back at Puttenham, at the 40-acre vineyard established in 1989, handpicked, and aged in cellars for over four years using the traditional method. This elegant and complex sparkling wine boasts layers of vibrant apple and citrus fruit favours along with a delightful richness and toasty aromas from the extended lees ageing.

The palate is perfectly poised with its freshness and mineral characteristics balanced by notes of freshly baked bread on the crisp finish. Wonderfully soft and dry, the wine serves as a beautiful aperitif but equally pairs with lighter seafood dishes.
